C351 welding wire has high wear and impact resistance. The welds have a martensitic structure with good temperature stability. It is used for hardfacing cold-working tools, such as cutting tools, forming tools, and various jaws. In certain cases, it can also be used on hot-working tools. It is suitable for welding medium-hard, hard, and naturally aged steels, for welding austenitic manganese steels, and for hardfacing wear-resistant surfaces and edges on unalloyed steels.
