The 19/9 NC Si welding wire is an austenitic wire used for welding corrosion-resistant 18/8 CrNi steels, such as welding equipment, apparatus, and boilers in the chemical and pulp industries, as well as in pharmaceuticals, up to an operating temperature of 350 °C. The welds are oxidation-resistant up to 800 °C and remain tough down to −196 °C. Suitable for welding stainless steels of similar composition, such as stainless furniture tubes, clamps, etc.
