Welding wire T718 is better known as Inconel 718. The welds have high strength and corrosion resistance. They are usable in the temperature range from -217 °C to 700 °C. The welds are suitable for aging. It is mostly used for welding high-strength joints or components in the aerospace industry and parts for liquid-fueled rockets, including those operating at cryogenic temperatures (close to -273 °C), for gas turbines, etc.
